Aggrestar
This fully automated platelet function analyzer is a rapid whole-blood testing system designed for precise assessment of platelet aggregation and thrombotic risk in cardiovascular and interventional patients. Based on sequential platelet counting before and after agonist activation, it directly measures platelet aggregation without requiring PRP preparation. With fast turnaround times of 2.5–7 minutes per test, low whole-blood sample volume, and strong validation in large-scale clinical studies, the system enables accurate monitoring of antiplatelet therapy, thrombosis risk prediction, and treatment guidance in routine and critical care settings.

Whole-blood platelet aggregation testing:
Direct analysis using only 0.25 ml of citrated whole blood per test with no PRP preparation required, simplifying workflow and reducing pre-analytical variability.Sequential platelet counting method (SPCM):
Measures platelet count before and after agonist-induced aggregation and automatically calculates aggregation rate for precise functional assessment.Fast analysis speed:
Test time ranges from 2.5 to 7 minutes per test depending on model (PL-11, PL-12, PL-16), enabling rapid clinical decisions.High analytical precision:
Demonstrates CV ≤ 7% for MAR results, providing reliable and repeatable platelet function assessment.Wide agonist compatibility:
Supports ADP, arachidonic acid (AA), collagen (COLL), epinephrine (EPI), ristocetin (R15), and thrombin receptor agonist peptide (TRAP) for comprehensive platelet pathway evaluation.Antiplatelet therapy monitoring:
Evaluates response to aspirin, clopidogrel, prasugrel, ticagrelor, GPIIb/IIIa inhibitors, and P2Y₁₂ inhibitors.High clinical validation:
Widely used in more than 400 laboratories with extensive clinical trials demonstrating its ability to identify 82–100% of high-thrombosis-risk patients.Ease of operation:
Simple three-step workflow—place sample tube, press “Run,” and review automatically printed results.Flexible model configurations:
Available in PL-11, PL-12, and PL-16 versions with 2 to 4 reagent positions and different throughput levels.Data handling and interface:
Stores over 20,000 results with built-in thermal printer and optional external printer support; English and Chinese language options available.Compact laboratory footprint:
Benchtop design with net weights ranging from 18 kg to 32 kg depending on model.Regulatory and intellectual property protection:
CE and SFDA certified with patent approvals in China, Europe, and the USA.
